We looked at the lineup of "cultural references" and realized something was missing.

The build quality is the part nobody expects. Steel construction, hard enamel fill, magnets that actually grip, prongs that actually fix ball marks. We didn't want to make a novelty — we wanted to make the gear you'd actually use, with a punchline on the front.
